Dr. Diane Dunn:

Dr.Dunn grew up in Binghamton NY and upon completion of undergraduate studies at Cornell University in 1980,  she relocated to the sunny south - choosing the warmer climate and southern charm over snow banks and the hurried northeast lifestyle.  In post graduate education, she completed first a Masters of Animal Science degree in 1986.  During that time she decided focusing on a career in veterinary medicine was more rewarding than continuing in research. In 1992 she earned the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida and has practiced veterinary medicine in Georgia since that time.  Her veterinary experience dates all the way back to 1983 when she began working as a veterinary assistant. 

Dr. Dunn's special interests are pediatrics, wellness, geriatrics, feline medicine, animal behavior and dentistry.  After husband and family, dressage riding and horses are her passion, and  Diane is an avid sports fan, anything GATOR - especially college football and gymnastics.  She and her husband live locally and share their home with an Australian Shepherd named Tempo, and Cami, Jackson and Marty - three loving cats. 

With nearly 40 years in the field of veterinary medicine, Dr. Dunn has a clear idea of not just veterinary medicine, but especially client service and how you deserve to be treated when you bring your beloved pets to her for care, and she has earned the respect and trust from her clients due to her sincerity, compassionate care, and her honest and practical approach to veterinary medicine. She looks forward to building this trust with all clients at Pine Mountain Veterinary!
